APPS WILL NOT OPEN ON KINDLE FIRE INSTALL

I am trying to get this resolved today as my show charging docks are being delivered and trying to get my Alexa app all configured with routines and such before hand to test out some ideas with the dock. Any suggestions without having to wipe my tablet and start from scratch? I force stopped both apps and then now when i click on the icon to launch it, i just get a spinning wheel loading icon that spins but that's it. Note that this worked fine when I updated to Fenix from Fennec right before this.

1 is installed via factory (which I'm pretty sure I would like the one native to the tablet from the factory), the other shows to be installed from google play store (though I didn't manually install it as i knew there was an existing factory edition on there.). Ever since then if i install an app from either the play store or the Amazon app store they will not show up on the main screen. Now, I did notice when i went through settings-> apps there are two versions of the Alexa app installed and neither give me an option to be uninstalled. I tried to uninstall an app and the icon remained, trying to uninstall it again gives me a pop-up about the app files do not exsist. A brief background I do have google play and google play services installed on the tablet for certain apps and things I wanted. So I attempted to open the Alexa app on my Fire HD 10 last night and it would just close instantaneously, no error or prompt, just tap the icon screen pops up then back to home screen.
